✅ Check the simple stuff first
  1. Make sure the patient is safe — swap in a backup unit if you need to.
  2. Reproduce the complaint yourself and write down exactly what you see (screen, alarm, code).
  3. Check power, battery, cables, accessories, and settings before ordering parts.
  4. Then open the service manual above and follow its troubleshooting section.

NIBP C04 air leak / won't reach pressure source ↗

  • Leak-check cuff, hose and connectors
  • Look for kinked or obstructed tubing (also causes C02 auto-zero)

NIBP C05 motion/noise errors source ↗

  • Re-position correct-size cuff; limit patient movement

E11 residual pressure source ↗

  • Verify power supply voltage within spec; retry

E20 internal source ↗

  • A/D failure: call Welch Allyn Technical Support

Temperature: probe errors (event 32-34) source ↗

  • Thermistor pulled/heater broken: retry predict then replace probe
