Manuals4You (manuals4you.net) is a free index of links to biomedical equipment documentation. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the site.

What we collect

• No accounts. You can't sign up or log in, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal information to use the site.
• Searches stay in your browser. Search and filtering run on your device; your search terms are not sent to us.
• Server logs and Cloudflare. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, and may keep it in short-term logs for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and handle your request.

Cookies

Manuals4You itself does not set cookies for tracking. Our own pages may use your browser's local storage for small preferences (for example, remembering that you closed an ad banner). If advertising is turned on, our advertising partners may set cookies as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK or Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used.

Ads are always labeled and never appear between a document and its Open button.

Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics service. If we add one, we will update this policy before it goes live.

Links to other websites

Almost every Open button and brand link takes you to a third-party website (manufacturers and public archives). Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookies, which we don't control. Please review them when you visit.

Children's privacy

Manuals4You is intended for healthcare technology professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
